I've been taking pictures of dogs I meet on the street lately. They are much harder to photograph well than I thought. Their inherent cuteness is hard to capture fully.
Whiskey is just such a subject. He's even more gorgeous in real life.

As vicarious dog-fanciers we bought a copy of BARK magazine purely because it had a greyhound on the cover, taken by Amanda Jones - she has a new book out, Iggies and Greyts, just portraits of regular and Italian greyhounds (wot, no whippets?)
