Sniffles and I were chatting last night about Australian men - how we're not "into" them - but there are so many examples that contradict this broad and ungenerous generalisation.
Case in point: Santo Cilauro. Smart and funny as hell even when he's dressed up as Zladko "Zlad" Vladcik - Molvania's pop sensation. Click the link - watch and listen to him "reprezent" his country at Eurovision 2004 and 2005.
And congrats to Greece for winning Eurovision 2005. Disclaimer: I only know this because I watch the BBC News for pointy heads, I do.

the eurovison song contest, hmmm germany got four points altogether - last place. Heard on the radio this morning that gracia (representing germany) has to move back to her nursery at her parents place somewhere in the countryside, because she can't afford living in munich anymore.
Poor thing. Honestly. The worst part is that its all for Eurovision. Its like the other night when I watched the worst auditions from around the world for "[insert country] Idol". The worst part was watching people who were really - and I mean REALLY - bummed out at their rejection. They really thought this was their ticket to personal emancipation. Haven't these people seen "The Surreal Life" where C-list stars prostitue their lack of actual bankable talent. Having said that, I don't know what Markus Schenkenberg is doing on that show. He was hot the last time I checked. Maybe things have changed. Hrmm....
I guess the adage that the fire that burns twice as bring burns half as long.
